The core of this high-performing electric guitar is formed by the trusty combination of an alder body and an ebony fretboard, which comes with a compound radius that graduates from 12 to 16 inches making bending a lot easier when compared to a more traditionally bulgy radius of 7.5 inches. Meanwhile, the Floyd Rose® 1000 Series Double-Locking tremolo bridge keeps tight tabs on the tuning - so tight that not even the deepest dive-bombs affect the stability.

Seymour Duncan® Distortion™ High-Out Pickups

As befits a genuine hot-rodded Super Strat®, the Charvel Pro-Mod S-Cal produces face-melting sound, courtesy of a pair of Seymour Duncan® Distortion™ pickups. The TB-6 at the bridge joins forces with an SH-6N in the neck position for tight-and-defined, high-output tone, while the push/pull volume control makes sure you can take on much more than metal alone. Simply pull it up and both humbuckers will start sounding like single-coils, allowing you to step into rock, jazz, blues and other tonal territories. Another bonus feature is the no-load wiring of the tone pot which, when set between 9 and 10, is completely taken out of the equation, leaving you with nothing but the original raw sound of the So-Cal Style 1 HH FR.
